Then you start getting sick a little more often, and then your overall health begins to suffer.

Natural and Organic Products Aren’t The Answer

  • Natural” Product Dangers: The word “natural” has no legal definition or safety guidelines as far as the FDA is concerned. It’s become a deceitful marketing ploy to make the consumer believe it’s safe. You should always have us research each “natural” product’s ingredients that you’re using because they can include the same dangerous chemicals as other products.

    Toxins Hidden With Synonym Names

High Priced Products Aren’t The Answer

  • FDA conducted a survey of toxic metals in cosmetics, and found that arsenic, cobalt, lead, mercury and nickel were present in unsafe amounts in both luxury and budget brands.

Beware of Purchasing Products
Designated “Clean” By Retailers

Personal care product retailers have begun to recognize the growing consumer interest in avoiding products with toxic ingredients. However, their efforts have been limited. Sephora for example, was one of the first major retailers to address this problems by designating certain products they sell as “Clean at Sephira”. But products getting this seal initially only needed to avoid a few 13 of over 3,000 known harmful ingredients. As a result of public pressure they increased this list to 50 in 2019, and it’s currently only about 138 while Europe, Canada and Japan ban over 1,700.

Other major beauty product sellers like Ulta, Credo, The Detox Market, Follain, Nordstrom, Walmart and Target have also decided that certain beauty product ingredients are harmful. They each list the ingredients they avoid in product’s they are selling, but the ingredients they are trying to avoid are also a small number of harmful ingredients.
